Through the New Technologies for Ag Extension (NTAE) grant program, the Extension Foundation (EXF) provides comprehensive support to the PATs, giving them access to resources and helping them develop technology solutions to move their work forward in innovative ways. EXF’s PAT liaisons have helped PATs with a variety of activities and projects in 2022 and 2023, such as the following:

EXF’s Key Informants also have provided support to the PATs in the following areas:
• marketing (including email campaign and promo- tional support and digital engagement consultations) • leadership development • publications • hosting virtual meetings and workshops Since the inception of the PATs and their partnership with EXF in fiscal year 2020-2021, more than $44.5 million has been secured to advance efforts in areas ranging from climate adaptation to diversity, equity, and inclusion on a national scale.

Program Action Teams (PATs), created and managed by the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy, are groups of Extension professionals from all over the United States who tackle high-priority issues in such areas as the following:
