Fellow Report:

● February - March:

○ Met with Karl to discuss team/leadership dynamics ○ With assistance from the EF team, we hosted a virtual chat with 20 participants from around the country. Great conversations ○ Submit abstracts to two conferences for presentations on the WEP Hub. Have had one acceptance and the other is not yet announced. ○ Launched our WEP Hub needs assessment survey with focus on MN watershed practitioners, but extended invites to those on the Virtual chat. We ended with 38 responses, most from MN. Wonderful insight provided. ● March - April: ○ Worked on our process publication with Rose and Heather; had several meetings wna dwe completed the writing prompts document for their use in the publication. ○ Developed draft Case Statement with Hellina’s insight and encouragement ● April: ○ Worked with Paulina to code results from our Virtual Chat and our WEP Hub survey. Used the data to inform categories and structure for the WEP Hub. ○ “Core Values” workshop with Karl ○ Met with WEP Hub advisory team for progress update and feedback ● April - May: ○ Built structure and content online and layout for WEP Hub ● May: ○ Initiated WEP Hub build with help from web designer recruited by EF (although contract is pending - bulk of web build will take place in June/July) ○ “Busy is a Choice” workshop with Karl ● Continued to collect and curate resources that will be used to populate WEP Hub. Experience(s) working with your Catalysts and Key Informants: We’ve run into multiple roadblocks, largely as a result of U of MN copyright/accessibility rules and website requirements, but our Catalysts have been incredibly supportive through multiple challenges with this project. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Jimmy and Chuck. I only wish I had been more proactive in reaching out for advice. I have a tendency to try to go it alone when I should really ask for help.
