National Digital Education Extension Team: Bridging the Digital Divide & ECOP Broadband Program Action Team Fellow: Rachel Wellborn, Mississippi State University Roadmap Fellow Report: NDEET completed the Digitally Connected Communities curriculum (community planning process) and Digital Literacy Toolkit. These were showcased at the three day training on May 3 - 5, 2022, which 30 participants from 8 states joined. These participants will begin a monthly cohort meeting as they pilot these materials. The first call is set for early June. They will also be encouraged to join the Community of Practice that has been established for this project: https://connect.extension.org/g/broadband-access-and-digital-skills. Experience(s) working with your Catalysts and Key Informants: Rick Klemme has initiated several calls with Extension Foundation development staff. This resulted in the Southern Rural Development Center developing a two-page infographic that describes Extension’s potential roles across the Digital Access Continuum as well as by program area. We are eager to continue down this path with the Extension Foundation’s assistance.

Please explain briefly how your project works with these audiences. We are intentional about engaging with the 1890s and several were present at the workshop. Additionally, the Digital Connected Communities is purposeful in mapping and addressing underserved and unserved areas of broadband access.
