To continue to move the Consortium goals forward, the Consortium will host a breakfast event at the International Association for Food Protection conference on August 1, 2022, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. At the breakfast events, leaders of each subcommittee will share their progress since the in-person meeting in June. This event will also serve as a venue to include researchers from other universities that are not part of the Consortium at this time (e.g., UC Davis, Colorado State, Oregon State, University of Nebraska, Kansas State University, etc.) It will provide an opportunity to strengthen relationships, share the Consortium’s goals, and identify opportunities to collaborate with universities not part of the Consortium.

Experience(s) working with your Catalysts and Key Informants: Our experience working with our Catalysts and Key Informants has been extremely positive. Drs. Fred Schlutt and Beverly Coberly have been resourceful, timely and proactive. They have guided us through different processes and connected us to the appropriate people on several occasions, including the process for the funding release and the no-cost extension request.
