Scaling Juntos Fellow: Diana Urieta, North Carolina State University Roadmap Juntos Fellow Report:

The purpose of this project is a national Extension program that serves majority Latino(a,x) youth and their parents. Juntos is a proven, community-driven innovative model that transforms outcomes for Latinx students and is ready to scale up its evaluation and sustainably expand scope and sites across the US. The project is to grow the awareness and adoption of this project in CES. During the reporting period, the project team completed and discussed the Project Roadmap and finalized their topic for the eFieldbook. The current sustainability Juntos guide was discussed as to how this document could be the framework for an eFieldbook focused on Juntos sustainability. A short summary to provide leadership before setting up a call for February. Started conversations with key informants around National road trip part two and the opportunity to pilot Ripple Effect Mapping Method with our Juntos youth at this year’s Summer Academy. A Juntos and 4-H Branding Message was used with the Extension Foundation CEO to discuss Juntos 4-H branding. A letter of intent to Kellogg Foundation was drafted and a small proposal was submitted to the National 4-H Council to support Juntos NC. ● Juntos and 4-H Branding Summary did lead to a future call with NC Extension leader, 4-H state leaders, and Caroline Henney ● eFieldbook topic and materials are ready for Heather to create the framing for the publication. ● Planning for National road trip part 2 is underway ● Planning for REM pilot is underway Catalyst Report: Scott Reed ● This is the most active NTAE project in my portfolio, and gaining attention, momentum, and traction on the national stage. Progress is well along on publishing the Juntos Sustainability Guide that will document and train existing and new states in how to effectively establish and gain resources. Juntos will be featured on one of the early Foundation “Center Stage” events. The Communications and Marketing KI is packaging the many audio interviews into additional “road trip” podcasts, adding two more states to the collection of voices. Consideration is again given to a major grant (likely from an outside foundation). The Partnership and Development KIs have added the fellow and catalyst to their regular meeting with the National 4-H Council. After a conversation
