about co-branding Juntos and 4-H, Caroline Henney offered to feature Juntos in the ECOP Monday Minute, and suggested that we approach Carrie Castille seeking alignment with NIFA’s DEIA initiative. NCSU Extension Director Bonanno and Scott Reed are currently scheduling with NIFA chief of staff Bill Hoffman. Consideration is given to connecting somehow to First Lady Biden’s education initiative, and we will visit with NIFA about how to initiate that.

Key Informant Services

Leadership and Leadership Development Two informational sessions on our “Team Effectiveness” services including Google’s Project Aristotle & Team Health survey dashboard. A team health survey is planned for Quarter 3. Digital Engagement and Publishing The need for ghostwriting and online presence (digital engagement) support was identified. This will be a ghostwritten publication. The team walked through a series of questions about purpose and audience including specific requirements for sustainability (i.e., development, champions, etc.) Video testimonials/case studies were discussed. ● Publishing/DE readiness assessed ● Needs identified: writing services; culturally responsive evaluation; digital engagement. ● A specific need for Spanish translation was identified. That cost will be covered through an expansion of current grant funds. ● Fellow/team provided a resource for planning a social media campaign in 2022 and has received writing prompts. ● Fellow/team invited to Connect Extension group, provided publishing/DE resources . Marketing and Communications Visited with the project Fellow this reporting period and discussed continued support of creative products. Traveled to Raleigh, NC during a local event for this team and conducted an interview with their videographer to be included in a partner presentation. Also working with the videographer to collect both video and audio to be used in additional products for the Juntos program to help better shape and tell their story. It is expected that we will create a second version of the Juntos Roadtrip Podcast series to highlight student and family success stories. We are also working with Juntos programs in other states to conduct interviews with parents and students that have benefitted from the program for the development of an additional podcast feature and other promotional and advocacy materials.
