UNH Engagement Hub

Fellow: Cathy Leach, University of New Hampshire Roadmap UNH Hub Fellow Report:

The purpose of this project is to create an Outreach and Engagement Hub, initially for K-12 students and educators, that provides comprehensive and cohesive knowledge of the breadth of UNH outreach offerings in an accessible and highly personalized construct within an easily digestible site and format. The Hub makes it possible to recognize the diversity of student interests, needs, and abilities, enabling multiple pathways for youth, educators, or other learners.Students of all ages will gain independence in accessing participation options, enrolling in programs, or attending events previously unknown to them. It will broaden UNH’s reach to communities throughout New Hampshire thus providing equitable and efficient access. It will provide UNH with the ability to cultivate relationships and sustain communication with outreach audiences. For students and educators, this will increase inclusivity and allow for a wider diversity in participation as the Hub increases awareness in communities and for individuals not currently engaged. This approach provides intentional and coordinated educational guidance for K-12 students and educators, unlike relying on a chance for important learning and lifelong connections to be made. ● Completed Hub project charter ● Increased internal communication about the Hub and buy-in from UNH leadership ● Fact-finding meetings with the product vendor and: ○ UNH Database Administrators ○ USNH IT Security ○ Go-To-Market Sub-group ○ Integrations with current systems, including Destiny One, Salesforce, and Master Calendar 2 ● Additionally:
