● Vendor has received necessary database access ● IT security has approved the product ● Completed a testing plan:
○ Who are the testers? Note that the team has lessened their initial testing group considerably upon further discussion with the vendor. The first round of internal users, including the HUB implementation team. The second round will include more internal, as well as a small group of 5-10 external testers. ● Creation of input survey ● Vendor creating front-end “wireframe design”. The first view meeting is scheduled for Feb 9 ○ Personas are in creation for the initial wireframe: youth & families, alumni & community. Plans for Quarter 3 include: ● Hub design ● Testing/Evaluation ● Working with market research firm ● Exploring publication options Catalysts’ Report: Scott Reed and Dyremple Marsh ● Progress is being made on fine-tuning the design of the Engagement Hub, with attention paid to messaging and priority audiences. The Communications and Marketing KI developed and sent an RFA for a professional marketing contractor and the single proposal received was from the same firm that did exemplary work with the year 1 NTAE project, Weather-Ready Farms. Because this project represents innovation in a whole-university engagement effort, the Catalyst is encouraging capturing process and outcomes lessons to be shared in an academic press. It is recognized that the project will require resources, energy, and time beyond the one year of NTAE support. ● Overall the progress on this project is encouraging and the leadership is making every effort to achieve the stated objectives before the deadline. There were a few minor delays in securing the best vendor capable of providing the platform to launch the HUB. A suitable vendor has now been identified and the project will be moving ahead as scheduled. The platform is being tested and full operations are expected by the end of March 2022. To date, the most important resources outside of catalyst time used by the HUB are; the involvement of KI services such as marketing, publications, and professional development. The project is still working through some early-stage challenges but is ready to accelerate in all areas soon. The Engagement Hub receives additional funding and managerial support from the wider University of New Hampshire
