● NET outreach at conferences ● Development of NET subgroups (Tourism, Recreation, Hospitality, and Extension) on Connect Extension. Catalyst’s Report: Scott Reed ● With NTAE KI guidance, proceedings of this year's national conference are being prepared. The movement has begun on an NTAE component to develop more leaders in the field. Consideration is given to an add-on event associated with an upcoming NACDEP conference. To strengthen marketing and scaling of NET, a small internal grants program is underway to support NET ambassadors who can carry marketing materials and messages to associated meetings and symposia. The NTAE e-publication will contain a series of features/profiles of Extension tourism programs. NET one-pagers are planned on the overall program, workforce, agritourism, DEIA, the recreation economy and perhaps one on hospitality. The Connect Extension subgroup will be launched when sufficient content is available. ● The project team is scheduled to engage with the Key Informant on Program Design engage expertise regarding their team’s goal of leadership development and organizational-growth planning. Key Informant Services Leadership and Leadership Development Two informational sessions on our “Team Effectiveness” services including Google’s Project Aristotle & Team Health survey dashboard. Digital Engagement and Publishing The Publishing/DE team created and provided to catalysts a publishing/DE readiness rubric, which collected information and assessed the project’s need and readiness for publishing and DE services. Several meetings have been held to provide input to the team on publishing their conference proceedings. The Digital Engagement leader participated in a meeting with the team in December. The one-pager was reviewed and discussed as a jumping-off point for a publication. This could be a creative publication, including key aspects of the national work supported by case studies. The one-pagers could provide some of the content to work from. The team was very receptive to this idea, which could further their goals of increasing visibility and securing additional support for the work. An additional meeting was held in January to explore options and determine the next steps.. Kristen is the point person for the network regarding digital publications and engagement. She would like ghostwriting services. The publication is envisioned as aggregation/curation of resources (NET conference, NET report, one-pagers) with compelling, narrative case studies demonstrating the breadth and impact of the network's work.
