The planning team has been working on finalizing dates for 2022 events and has almost finished that task. An introductory session for new states is scheduled and the invitation has been sent.

● A training agenda for new states joining the Coming Together effort has been established that will use a hybrid approach for the rst time for the 40+ hours of training.

Next Steps: ● Launch the Administrators' Mini-Series, identify and launch new Coming Together state teams, launch learning labs. Catalyst’s Report: Chuck Hibberd ● Coming Together for Racial Understanding team is planning additional training for LGUs wanting to build capacity to deliver community dialogues on race. ● CTRU Research Team is developing 3-5 refereed publications on how LGU/Extension can build capacity and culture focused on DEI. ● ECOP DEI PAT is meeting monthly to discuss the following: ○ Metrics : John Diaz, Lendel Narine, Roger Rennekamp

■ Begin development of a national Delphi study of experts to develop broader consensus around metrics guided by evaluation specialists. ■ Create a draft capacity assessment for DEI to measure institutions’ ability and readiness to incorporate DEI in their programming.

● Promising Programs: Ray McKinnie, Chuck Hibberd, Karl Martin – Issue a call to states to identify promising programs, followed by a program bazaar/ignite session to showcase efforts. Review metrics used to gauge measurable outcomes. ● Community of Practice & Resource Repository: Skye Kantola and Mark Mains – Determine vision and mission of each existing site and strategize on how to synthesize efforts. ● 1862/1890/1994 Collaborations: Ed Jones & Brian Raison – Identify/expand existing list of promising collaborations. (At least a start of a Southern Region list exists - attached). Identify a list of DEI contacts for each Extension Service/LGU.
