agriculture, non-traditional and others; to please register their program in the National Registry of Cooperative Extension Programs & Assets (NRCEPA). This registry will be used to identify, support, scale, and provide a snapshot of CES' depth and breadth of Workforce and Economic Development programming. Non-traditional examples: meat-cutting skills, pesticide safety training, babysitting, child care skills programs, and others. Implementation Teams, sub-committees of the Action Team, are composed of Extension faculty and specialists from across the nation with the task of identifying Extension programs 0that are ready to be scaled up and funded at the national level. The Implementation Teams would serve as Extension’s partnering group regarding national workforce and economic development initiatives for their theme. The implementation team will also be responsible for developing letters of intent or submitting large grants on behalf of ECOP. A second task of the Priority Implementation Team would be to provide content to further develop the advocacy toolkit for workforce and economic development. Initially, these teams meet bi-weekly. If a faculty and/or staff member is interested in being involved in an Implementation Team, please send contact information to Caroline Henney. This call is still active. The Partnership and Development Team ensured meetings are recorded, minutes are taken and agendas are shared in a timely manner. Extension Foundation was also vital in the draft Letter Of Intent for NIFA and has provided the support for the Fellowship recruitment, interview coordination and will provide supervisory support once hired. ● The Program Action Team had bi-weekly meetings for the duration of the quarter. They have drafted a framework for workforce development program deployment across CES and are in the process of scheduling interviews for the Fellowship. ● The Workforce and Economic Development PAT submitted an LOI to NIFA concerning support development of an interactive data set of Workforce Development program offerings of extension offices enabling the Extension Foundation to identify and scale existing workforce development programs across all aspects of Cooperative Extension in the amount of $70,000. This LOI has been informally accepted at the end of Q1 reporting. Next Steps: Anticipated funding of $70K to come from NIFA. ● Organizational Structure and Framework for national programming will be refined and shared with ECOP and the CES ● Pilot project in Guam do be refined and grant application to the RISE (USDA) grant opportunity will be submitted (April 2022)
