capacity for national Extension data to dynamically feed into project-related data dashboards and other types of data services and applications.

Objective 1. Foster opportunities for innovation by connecting CES personnel with new and innovative technologies that engage a wide array of learners.

a. Enhance and upgrade existing functionalities i. Connect Extension will continue to provide a platform and support for groups across CES for networking, professional development, training, blogging, and connections ii. Publishing the efforts of projects and project fellows. The use of a new model (Flipping Books) for publishing will take considerably less input and yet provides shareable information about topics and processes related to NTAE projects. Evaluation will collaborate more closely to increase our focus on evidence-based practices. iii. Ask Extension will continue to be further developed and enhanced as work continues with artificial intelligence to answer CES system questions. Plans are to complete the California IPM Chatbot pilot and the University of Georgia Food Preservation Pilot and move to piloting and implementing a cognitive search tool for CES. iv. Support the marketing and usage of the new tool the National Registry of Cooperative Extension Programs and Assets (NRCEPA). The Extension Foundation actively seeks usage by CES of the new national registry tool and assets to provide better access to programs and activities that can be replicated in other states or revised for other locations to use. v. Capitalize on the Learn Calendar and Ask Extension to more proactively market public-facing content using the new Hubspot tool and strengthened Search Engine Optimization. b. Provide customer support, including help-desk staffing, web hosting, training, and software licenses. i. The Help-Desk function will continue to expand and be measured. This effort is based on an open-source platform for easy sharing across CES. ii. The Extension Foundation will continue to provide web hosting. iii. Training, software licensing will continue c. Provide infrastructure support for technical and architectural standards will continue. i. Implement an initiative to assess system technology that needs to be completed Fall 2022
