A specific focus on broadband inequities across racial lines has been a part of this effort.

Significant Results:

● Short-term (knowledge, skills) ○ Pilot teams learned to think broadly about potential community partners in broadband efforts during a focused hands-on session. ○ Pilot teams gained a better understanding of broadband related terms through a Broadband 101 discussion/presentation. ● Mid-term (behavior) ○ Some pilot teams are planning in-service training for agents/educators to expand Extension’s bench strength around broadband. ○ Some pilot teams are working to identify and train digital educators who will help community members learn basic digital skills. ○ Some pilot teams are actively walking communities through the planning process designed and presented at the Advancing Digital Access Workshop. ● Long-term (condition) ○ A network of colleagues within Extension nationally is expanding to generate a greater presence for Extension efforts in this space.

Partnership and Development The partnership and development specialist provided suggested edits for the team's case statement document and website, and facilitated a connection with Northeast Regional Center/University of Maryland.
