Program Theory and Logic Models

Program Theory Program theory is at the foundation of any evaluation because it articulates what the program is supposed to accomplish--the outcomes. Program theory is also called a theory of change or a pathway of change. The intervention that is used to cause behavior change is the program. Logic Models

A logic model is used in program theory to show the chain of events or causal links that will produce the outcomes.
