Building Grantsmanship Capacity in Underserved Communities Fellow: Rachel Welborn, Mississippi State University Team Work Plan
Fellow Report: We have developed a draft 1 pager and a team application. We presented a 90 minute workshop at the Professional Ag Workers Conference and got good feedback on the concept. We have since distributed the call for teams and already have one application in hand. Significant Results: Feedback from the PAWC workshop participants aligned with our programmatic goals, giving us good feedback on the direction we are headed. Experience(s) working with your Coach, Catalysts and/or Key Informants as applicable: Dawn Mellion and Dyremple Marsh have been excellent Catalysts, giving us very candid feedback, which we value highly. Anticipated Work for Next Reporting Period: (Please list the objectives and goals for the next reporting period.) During the next period we plan to select the five pilot teams for the project and devise a meeting schedule in partnership with the teams. With this information in hand, we can divide out the training content to align with the schedule.
