Continue to identify and engage community partners who are based, or who deliver programs in Springfield, MA. 2. Continue to identify and access professional development resources to build staff and faculty skills to engage urban audiences. 3. Arrange and conduct site visits for team members to observe exemplary urban extension programs in the Northeast that are aligned with existing or future capacity of UMass Extension as well as with the needs and opportunities presented by urban audiences and stakeholders in Springfield, MA.

Please explain briefly how your project works with these audiences. This has not occurred yet, but the purpose of the project is to help ensure that UMass Extension knowledge and resources will be allocated more justly and more equitably to better serve communities and residents in ways that accurately reflect the social, racial and demographic composition of our state. For the current project this means expanding existing programs and designing new programs that are designed and delivered in collaboration with urban audiences and stakeholders.
