Quarterly Reports NTAE Year 4 Qtr 1

Choice, Strategic Planning, and Recognition as a Resource. 2. Staff scheduled two training dates in January to complete Five Aspects of Highly Effective Teams (1/20/23) and Busy is a Choice (1/31/23). Additional training will be scheduled for February or March depending on availability of staff and Karl. Significant Results: Significant outcomes achieved in quarter one include: 1. Created a detailed Plan of Work outlining primary work tasks to be completed monthly. The Plan of Work guides staff’s work and deadlines. 2. Developed a youth workshop plan format and identified five social emotional skill competencies to teach across youth workshop plans: competencies: self-awareness, self-management, relationship skills, responsible decision-making, and social awareness from The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning. 3. Secured a youth development and youth program expert, Rose Hayden Smith, to provide editing and feedback of the youth facilitator guide. This is a wonderful connection to make! Rose has so much knowledge and wisdom to share, her input will help us make the best version of the youth facilitator guide. 4. Secured a marketing expert, Aaron Weibe, to provide feedback and direction on future marketing materials and strategies. Aaron will review and revise the current program logo and “branding” features of the program. This is so exciting for staff! We are hopeful to create an eye-catching look to the program that will draw people in and want to attend the program. 5. Upon Aaron Weibe’s suggestion, staff identified the top three ways in which potential program participants heard about Heart & Hope: agencies, school flyers, and friends/family members. 6. Secured a program design expert, Molly Immendorf, to co-create two program videos to showcase youth workshop content. This is a whole new area for stuff to explore and create. Currently, the program is a traditional face-to-face, pen and paper program. Staff are thrilled to learn ways to add technology components, such as video clips, into the program. This is a first step in creating a hybrid Train-The-Trainer model for Heart & Hope. 7. Scheduled two leadership development training sessions with Karl Bradly, Five Aspects of Highly Effective Teams (1/20/23) and Busy is a Choice (1/31/23). For this reporting period, please share your experience(s) working with your Coach, Catalysts and/or Key Informants as applicable: Each catalyst, key informant, and Tira have been very supportive, encouraging, suggested items to consider that will move our local program to a professional, credible, respected program.
