The monthly meeting has been productive and gives our team time to work on the project and have a moment to touch bases and check specific things with the Catalysts. Our team appreciates Dawn, Chuck, and Tira's experience and guidance. Anticipated Work for Next Reporting Period: (Please list the objectives and goals for the next reporting period.) ● As the next steps, our team has planned to get immersed in the game, with gameplay time to identify accessibility and DEI issues in the old game version. The team is refining the activities to support youth in reflecting on DEI and accessibility, we are planning a 2-day long session before February where youth present to developers their theming ideas. Additionally, the research team is meeting weekly to move forward with a publication on the process and our framework of inclusive design, where Ninja Kitchen redesign will serve as a case study; Please provide any supporting links that you would like to include with this report. During the school's 2022 fall break, the team collected initial feedback from youth about Ninja Kitchen and explored some activities to discuss DEI with them. The main focus of this project is to redesign our successful Ninja Kitchen game, expanding its audience in terms of accessibility and diversity. Both accessibility and diversity are part of inclusive design. Following the inclusive design process, our team will redesign the game to be playable for as many players as possible, particularly groups who are marginalized or excluded
