NYS 4-H ProgramLeader, CornellUniversity; Co-Chair, ECOP 4-H Leadership Committee Andy Turner is the NYS 4-H ProgramLeader and Assistant Director for Cornell University Cooperative Extension. He leads a teamof ten campus based staff in the College of Human Ecology that support a large and diverse programthat reaches 175,000 youth through200+ County level staff and

10,000 volunteers. Andy is currently the Co-Chair of the National 4-H LeadershipCommitteewithin the ExtensionCommittee on Organizationand Policy (ECOP) and has played a lead role in developing and implementing the 4-H Pathways project since 2017. Andy has 30 years of experience in Cooperative Extension, working as a County based4-H educator, Executive Director and Statewide Regional Director prior to becoming the State 4-H ProgramLeader in 2014. Andy received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Cornell University, and a Doctorate in Education from St. John Fisher College in 2016, developing a study that examined disruptive innovation and organizational change leadership in Cooperative Extension.
