Carolina State University as the NC Cooperative Extension Associate for 4-H ProgramDelivery. During her time with NCSU, Kate completed her Doctorate in HumanResource Development and Workforce Education as well as served as a faculty member of the Youth and Family Studies Graduate program. In an effort to get closer to her New England roots, Kate accepted the role of Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs at Manchester CommunityCollege of New Hampshire. Following her passion for youth and family development, Kate transitioned into her role with UNH Cooperative Extension in February of 2016. Kate currently serves as the NH 4-H State ProgramLeader, providing leadershipand support to the NH 4-H program. When not engaging in youth and family development work, Kate enjoys timewith her family in the great outdoors as well as exploring the country seeking out adventures.

Dr. UsmanAdamu serves as the founding Deanand Director of the UVI School of Agriculture. Prior to joining UVI, he was the director of the School of Education at Ferris State University and teaching faculty member for over a decade in the Department of Agriculture at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Dr. Adamu earnedhis doctorate degree in Agricultural and ExtensionEducation fromMichigan State University and holds master’s andbachelor’s degrees inAgricultural

Education from North Carolina A & T State Univers ity.

Stafford Crossman

AssociateDirector - Cooperative Extension

Mr. Stafford Crossman is an ExtensionAssistant Professor and the Associate Director of the Cooperative Extension Service at the Universityof the Virgin Islands School of Agriculture. Prior to being named Associate Director, Mr. Crossman servedas the Assistant Commissioner for the V.I. Department of Agriculture. His areas of specialty include crop production, focusing on vegetables and tropical fruits.
