Remote Online Initiative

Fellow: Paul Hill, Utah State University Roadmap

Fellow Report: I'm off to a great start and feel my assigned catalysts are extremely helpful in guiding me in the process of scaling my ROI program nationally. I've determined my deliverables and plans for the next year, but I am open to pivot as circumstances change and I learn new things. My objective is to (1) Establish an Onboarding Plan for aliates of the ROI program, (2) Develop program communication content, so I can (3) Execute a targeted marketing campaign, and reach my project goal of (4) 10 approved aliates by end of August 2022. I have already drafted the script to my pitch video and will be recording it in a studio this month, after which it will be edited and posted to my web page https://extension.usu.edu/remoteworkcertificate/affiliate I am currently working on an outline and script for an introductory presentation about the ROI program and after that I will be working on a welcome presentation for all those aliates that are approved. Experience(s) working with your Catalysts and Key Informants: My catalysts are helping to connect me to EXF resources. I met with Aaron about marketing and he helped me design a plan for marketing my program nationally through a national email campaign in conjunction with a national webinar. I plan to meet with Karl in January 2022 and Ashley, Rose, and Heather in February 2022. Significant Results: ● I am currently at 4 approved affiliates! I've got 4 more that are interested and working through the process to become approved. I have also obtained contacts of 3 interested leaders at land grant institutions who want to learn more Anticipated work for the next reporting period (December 1, 2021 - February 28, 2022): ● I will be outlining and writing scripts for my introduction and welcome presentations. Once those are ready, I will record them and publish them on my web page. This communication content will cover my entire onboarding plan for ROI program aliates.
