Digital Publishing and Engagement Publishing/DE team created and provided to catalysts a publishing/DE readiness rubric, which collected information and assessed the project’s need and readiness for publishing and DE services.

Anticipated work for the next reporting period (December 1, 2021 - February 28, 2022): ● The Fellow(s) will meet with the publishing/DE team and catalysts to share info about the project, what the Fellow hopes to accomplish with publishing/DE, and explore publishing/DE possibilities. The Fellow(s) will receive writing prompts and resources/ideas/examples for DE. The Publishing/DE team will begin interviewing the Fellow to initiate the “ghostwriting” process as needed. Publishing/DE team to begin ghostwriting publication. ● Because of the high potential for digital content, the Publishing/DE team will work with Fellow(s) to begin considering digital strategies for organizing/sharing content. ● Possibly work with a team on a virtual chat as a way to do an assessment (focus group) and gather resources. Marketing and Communications Connected with this team to identify some of their challenges. The first challenge they have is being able to provide watershed managers across Minnesota with basic information that can be used in educational outreach. In response to this, we developed a one-page flyer that can be delivered to watershed managers both electronically and in print. The flyer is still in draft form, but is expected to be completed soon. A copy in its current form is attached. Anticipated work for the next reporting period (December 1, 2021 - February 28, 2022): ● Finalize flyer ● Work with team to conduct focus groups already planned Partnership and Development The Partnership and Development team did not engage with this project team during the first quarter. Evaluation Evaluation KIs have reviewed team documents and met with this project to identify areas of support.
